As a Practice Nurse you will workalongside our highly experienced Practice Nurse and support the NursingAssociate and Health Care Assistants.

You will be able to provide excellentpatient centred care.

Practice Nurses within our practice arean important part of the clinical team and have excellent support from our GPsand ANP.

The ideal candidate will work towardsthe Lead Practice Nurse Role.

Main duties of the job

Working as part of thepractice multidisciplinary team the post holder will ensure nursing services.

are deliveredeffectively and efficiently in line with NHS contract requirements. The Practice Nurse will be responsible forclinical areas such as Infection control, chronic disease management and healthprevention.

The treatments providedinclude vaccinations, screening, and chronic disease management.

Qualities: Team Player,Flexibility, Self-Motivated, Adaptability, Confidentiality, Professional andable to communicate well.

About us

We are a 2 sitePractice in neighbouring villages with a population of approx. 5500 in total.

We have 2 Full time and1 Part time General Practitioners

We have a Full timeAdvanced Clinical Practitioner

We have a Part timePractice Nurse, a Part Time Nurse Associate and 2 HCA's.

Our Admin Team includesPractice Manager, Reception Manager, 3 admin staff, Care Coordinator PracticeSecretary and 5 Receptionists.

We are a small friendlyteam, who work well together.
