As Chef Manager, working for a reputable contract catering company you will have some operational and financial responsibility for this site based in Nottingham.

As well as cooking and serving high quality, freshly cooked meals, the kitchen will be focusing on delivering the highest quality of food and service along with flair, originality, and the ability to make this one of the best sites in the area.

Key info:
Salary: Up to £32,000
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7am to 3.30pm, 40 hours
Location: Nottingham NG1

Key Responsibilities
Lead, develop, coach, train, and inspire your team
Have control of stock, food, and labour costs
Ensure consistency of food and service standards
Manage and improve all controllable costs
Oversee the main kitchen and menu development
Deliver exceptional customer service
Maintain company systems & procedures, and legislation
Carry out regular audits

Ideal Candidate
Experience within a similar environment as a Chef Manager
Line management experience is advantageous
Craft based experience using fresh ingredients
Knowledge of health and safety practises
Financial understanding of gross profit management and achieving sales targets
