We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant who can inspire and support pupils across a range of subjects and activities. As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in helping students achieve their full potential, both academically and personally.

Responsibilities as a Level 2 Teaching Assistant :

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
  • Assist with the planning and preparation of learning materials.
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support to students who need extra help.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the teacher.
  • Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
  • Support students with their social and emotional needs.

To be a successful Level 2 Teaching Assistant you should:

  • A Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with children in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for education.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the school and students.
  • Have an updated CV (covering last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
