We are looking to welcome co-workers to join our fantastic Sales team.

At IKEA we are working to make our products and services more accessible to customers that do not live near one of our stores. In the Scottish market we are looking for people who passionate about kitchen design and customer satisfaction, to bring the IKEA range directly into our customers homes. If you would like to meet customers in their own homes and help them build a kitchen with their individual needs in mind then we are looking for you.

We are looking for people specifically in and around Dundee and Inverness.

Expected Starting Date: to be discussed with the Hiring Manager.

WHAT WE OFFER

39 hours - working 5 days out of 7, including evenings & weekends
Starting salary £26,
Permanent contract
While this role will not be working in the Edinburgh Store you will need to attend 2 full weeks of training in the store when you join IKEA.

Final offers of employment are contingent upon clear results in mandatory background checks. Backgrounds checks must be completed by all successful candidates and will include medical history.

Due to the nature of this role you need to be over 25 & have held a drivers licence for 2 years+.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE

You are someone who actively listens to the customer needs and offers innovative solutions to meet them. You will be responsible for the full customer experience from booking the first appointment, right through to payment being taken, so must be someone who is passionate about seeing a job through from start to finish.

You have a can-do attitude, inspire and will actively sell the IKEA kitchen range of products and services. You are someone who enjoys working under your own initiative with the autonomy to manage your diary of appointments.

You enjoying staying up to date on trends, living situations and customer buying behaviours to provide relevant, affordable, functional, and sustainable solutions to our customers. You are able to drive sales, have high numeracy and are comfortable learning, understanding and utilising complex systems & selling tools.

For insurance purposes applicants for this role must be over the age of 25 & have held a drivers licence for 2 years+.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
You will be the ones meeting our customers you will bring the ambience, inspiration and quality of the IKEA showroom directly into customer's homes. You will have knowledge of the IKEA product range, local markets and customer needs. Your responsibilities will include meeting sales targets and other KPI's. While you will not work in the Edinburgh store you will have the support of the instore team who will be there to offer help and support when you need it. There will also be occasions when you will be expected to come into the store.
