- United Kingdom**EQUANS is looking for a Workforce Planner to join our team based at the Royal Infirmary Edinburgh on a temporary (12 Months) basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.**

The role of the Workforce Planer is to execute the delivery of logistics planning of our onsite technical workforce to ensure delivery of agreed services to our customer in line with Contract Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The workforce planner will be responsible for maximising productivity and managing all works to completion until the customer is satisfied. You must establish and maintain strong relationships with the operational technical teams and adopt and highlight a collaborative approach to resolving customer issues.

**What will you deliver?**
- Monitor trends via Power BI Dashboard in engineer performance (daily, weekly, monthly) reporting negative trends to the operational delivery team/Team Leader
- Maximise utilisation of direct labour, reporting absences and identifying potential shortfalls and mitigation
- Analyse jobs for both reactive and PPM’s, allocate to the correct resource based on location, skill, priority, PPMS and customer requirements
- Live monitoring for both reactive and PPM’s jobs and reporting any scheduling issues or call progression problems to the relevant person as appropriate
- Identify, analyse, and improve upon existing processes to improve the way we work as a team
- Prioritise numerous PPM’S. Continuously monitoring the progress of work whilst communicating any delays to the relevant people
- Effectively manage a significant workload in a fast-paced environment
- Effective tasking and direction of engineering workforce to complete Reactive, Quoted, Planned and Statutory Maintenance tasks within contract KPI’s and legislative requirements
- Work in conjunction with the Operations/Delivery Managers to ensure seamless management and delivery of contract
- Ensure any interactions with all customers reflects positively on the company
- Support with the scheduling of subcontractor work as and when required
- Ensure all engineer paperwork is quality checked prior to processing as required
- Provide reporting/updates to operational teams or others as necessary to demonstrate the fulfilment of contract requirements
- Work closely with site Business Support team to ensure clients are kept informed in advance of planned preventative maintenance or reactive visits as per contract agreements, including delays
- Involvement in weekly/monthly labour planning meetings with Supervisors/Managers/Team Leader as required
- Produce relevant information and updates required for inclusion in contract reports
- Schedule and manage all reactive, PPM and statutory testing works within contractual SLAs/KPIs
- Work with the service delivery team to review engineer availability
- Any other administrative work as required.

**Who are we looking for?**
- Experience within a Healthcare environment is advantageous
- Planning Experience
- Experience with CAFM System
- Must be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft word, Excel and Outlook
- Exceptional communications skills and have the ability to liaise with management and operatives at all levels
- Maintain highest level on confidentiality
- Responsible, trustworthy, and reliable.

This role includes a Basic Disclosure Scotland check therefore ability to pass is essential.
