For this vacancy you'll undertake a Level 2 Heating & Ventilation apprenticeship qualification, which will include installing a variety of systems for industrial and commercial buildings, including hot and cold water services, chilled water, hot water heating, fire protection and heating appliances. Not to be confused with a domestic heating engineer, heating and ventilating experts install miles rather than metres of pipework and are specialists in large industrial and commercial boilers. What do we look for in our apprentices?You should have an interest and passion for your chosen apprenticeship pathway
You should enjoy problem solving and getting practical, hands on experience
You should be committed to learning and completing studies in your chosen pathway
You will have Maths and English Level 4-9 or equivalent/ Scottish National 5 certificates grade A to C and you should be able to provide certificates at interview
You will meet any pre-qualification requirement for the Gas Heating and Ventilation Modern Apprenticeship Minimum 17 preferably 18 years of age Driving licence held or provisional (ideally with test booked) Willing to travel to attend training.Our market-leading offering provides you with benefits that suit your lifestyle.
