Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Governance and Commercial professional to work as our Group Contract Director to join the Trust to lead the development and implementation of a revised governance framework for AGH Solutions Ltd, the Trust's wholly owned subsidiary.

We are seeking a proactive, agile and collaborative individual with a passion for healthcare to join us and take forward our ambitions to revise the governance arrangements between the Trust and AGH Solutions Ltd.

The ideal candidate will have a commitment to making every voice count, ensuring that engagement and collaboration are at the heart of the programme of work. They will have a comprehensive understanding of the NHS and provider landscape, and the Trust's obligations to consider its wider duties to meet the requirements of the legislative framework in which the Trust and AGH Solutions operate, including obligations under the 2006 Act, Provider Licence, CQC regulations, Teckal, Health and Safety and ensures operational efficiency. Stakeholder relationship management is a key factor of this programme of work and the right candidate will have experience of working across organisations to influence, collaborate and set achievable and realistic outcomes for the programme.

Main duties of the job

On behalf of the Trust, the Group Contract Director will lead the development of revised governance framework including the drafting of associated contracts and agreements. The Group Contract Director will ensure delivery of the revised governance framework work programme against agreed objectives, to time, cost and quality parameters.

This leadership role will be pivotal in ensuring that the programme of work is delivered to the highest standards of governance, with clear public accountability, and with distinct objectives to deliver its goals within stipulated timelines, budgetary constraints, and quality benchmarks.

The candidate will be based at Airedale General Hospital with the offer of a range of flexible and agile working opportunities. There may be some off-site travel to attend meetings and events.

Senior level technical knowledge and experience of advising on complex transactions and commercial options Detailed knowledge and experience of benefits management and knowledge management
