Job Summary:

The Security Coordinator will provide support to the Regional Security Manager to enhance physical security oversight and efficiency across sites in the midlands area for our esteemed client. The successful candidate will work closely with the security supervisors, ensuring optimal site security for logistic operations, and will undertake daily management of external suppliers. The position is hybrid will involve a mix of site based and home working.

Essential Functions:

Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence. Assist in customization and development of internal security instructions, including training initiatives for security teams to enhance operational capabilities and service delivery. Assist in both internal and external audits, including TAPA, GSA, Customs, and other related assessments. Offer guidance and recommendations from a security standpoint to bolster project launches and facilitate change management. Ensure the proper adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) for both corrective and preventive maintenance, as well as timely resolution of urgent repairs pertaining to system malfunctions. Oversee the access control system, which includes tasks such as issuing new cards, addressing any misuse or violations, and conducting regular system reviews. Assume responsibility for managing operational contracts with suppliers of security goods and services, which includes activities such as conducting Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), strategic planning, issuing annual purchase orders, handling complaints, and more. Take on the responsibility of reviewing suppliers' reporting, performance, rosters, incidents, and other relevant factors.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

Three or more years of corporate security management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company. Previous experience in operations or project management is a plus.

Competencies:

Possess excellent communication abilities, including the capacity to train and inspire staff, oversee external suppliers, negotiate contracts, serve as an escalation point for security-related matters, and collaborate effectively with team members. Demonstrate expertise in TAPA security requirements and audits through past experience. Possess a thorough understanding of electronic security management systems, including intrusion detection, closed-circuit television (CCTV), and access control. Bi-Lingual skills English and Dutch (Preferred). Demonstrate a methodical and organized work style, combined with a flexible approach to work. Adept at managing dynamic workloads and effectively resolving ad hoc security situations. Possess the ability to seamlessly transition between operational, tactical, and strategic tasks.
