Teaching Personnel is collaborating with a secondary school in Fareham that is seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join their team full-time starting in September.

This role encompasses full teaching responsibilities, and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and meeting the educational needs of all students.

The role requires a commitment to both the academic and personal development of students and the ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons.
  • Assess, record, and report on the progress of students.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Support the educational needs of all students, ensuring each child can achieve their potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
  • Strong commitment to the educational and personal development of students.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Previous experience teaching English at the secondary level is preferred.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
