Your main responsibility willinvolve working within the GMP Production team, supporting theproduction of cellular therapy products for clinicaluse.
JobSummary:
As a GMP ProductionScientist you will report to the Senior Scientist and will workwithin the GMP manufacturing team, with responsibility for deliveryof cellular therapy products. The GMP Production Scientist will beresponsible for performing batch manufacturing of the company scontract manufacturing products to support the delivery, in thefirst instance, of Advanced Therapeutic Medicinal Products (ATMPs)as both Specials and as Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs).The post holder will work closely with GMP Production Scientists,Quality Assurance Scientists and facilitate the efficient deliveryof cellular therapy products for clinical use.
You will have the followingexperience/qualifications:
- Adegree (or equivalent) in a Science or relateddiscipline
- Experience of cell culturetechniques
- Experience in aseptic manufacturingin a controlled clean-roomenvironment
- Experience following validated SOPsand reporting on deviations to SOPs
- Workingknowledge of GMP for ATMPs and EU regulations for cell and genetherapy products
- Experience in manufacturingcellular therapies or stem cell processing and cellbanking
