LOCATION : Delta Park, Fareham

WORKING HOURS : Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week (Hybrid working - 2 days in the office)

What will you be doing:

As Pricing Analyst you’ll support and work with the Senior Pricing Manager when it comes to commercial decision-making by providing insights based on data analysis and modelling as well as be responsible for developing pricing reports, models and supporting price strategy-related initiatives at Region, Global and Market level. 

You’ll be a key collaborator and work closely with areas of the business such as Customer Marketing, Commercial Finance & Sales Operations and be confident in communicating at all levels, including Director level. 

Essential responsibilities: 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development of a pricing strategy and implementation guidance by providing accurate reporting and insightful analysis. Apply data analytics tools to identify trends, segment performance to support the commercial organization make data-driven pricing recommendations. Enhance data quality and leverage it for the improvement of pricing reporting, modelling, analytics and insights to inform pricing & promotions investment decisions. For example, develop Promotions ROI tool. Support Senior Pricing Manager monitor implementation of pricing & channel strategy guidance through ad hoc reporting and other initiatives. Drive simplification, system optimization (. OV pricing model/architecture) and continuous improvement in general on pricing management process and practices. Support and collaborate with the Global or EMEA Regional or local market teams on other ad-hoc initiatives as required/assigned. It may include working on market-level initiatives, pricing projects or change management.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with previous experience in Business Analytics or related fields, high attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively. You will also have the following:

Experience in Pricing or Marketing is desirable. Superior proficiency in Microsoft Excel and advanced with Microsoft PowerPoint. Experience with COGNOS and Tableau.  Experience with tools such as R, SAS, SQL, Python or similar and with data visualisation software desirable. Experience in Hyperion, Power BI or similar analytic tools is preferred. Ability to present sophisticated analysis in a clear and concise format. Ability to work in a collaborative, pressurized, changing environment. Experience in Pricing or Marketing is desirable.
