You will report to the Head of Technical Services and focus on processing warranty transactions. Your main goal is to ensure positive outcomes for warranty claims to reduce running costs. With support from the Senior Warranty Executive, you'll determine if warranties from the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), aircraft, repairs, or purchases apply. You'll handle claim processing in the system, reviewing shop findings reports and component histories to make decisions and negotiate warranty results.
Key Duties:
- Identify eligibility for aircraft component warranties
- Create warranty repair orders in company system
- Analyze shop findings reports, bill of material, and component history to validate claims (with guidance)
- Negotiate warranty outcomes directly with suppliers
- Assist in project delivery within agreed quality, time, and budget limits
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Identify and process supporting claims, including retroactive reimbursement of warranty transportation costs and SSC guarantees.
The person:
- Proactive attitude in identifying cost saving and process improvement opportunities
- Good commercial acumen and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to consolidate and present information back to the stakeholders
- Strong communication and negotiation skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at different levels
