Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging Drama lessons to students in Primary and Secondary education levels
- Foster creativity, encourage self-expression, and develop students' confidence through drama techniques
- Collaborate with other staff members to develop and implement a well-rounded performing arts curriculum
- Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support
- Organize and direct school performances, showcasing students' talents and achievements
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting equality and diversity
- Liaise with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on students' progress
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Drama or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching Drama in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of drama pedagogy and contemporary performance practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for drama education and the empowerment it can bring to students
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and differentiate instruction to meet students' individual needs
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
