Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive drama lessons to students in accordance with the school's curriculum
  • Foster a creative and nurturing environment that promotes student confidence and self-expression
  • Organize and direct school plays, performances, and other dramatic productions
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, exams, and other forms of assessment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of students' attendance, progress, and behavior
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students' progress and any concerns

Requirements

  • A degree in Drama or a related field, along with relevant teaching qualifications
  • Proven experience teaching drama to primary or secondary school students
  • Passion for drama education and a strong understanding of current teaching practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Up-to-date knowledge of drama curriculum and assessment frameworks
