The new facilities include a state-of-the-art Emergency Department, where we see around 100,000 new patients annually. The hospital has a full range of diagnostic services, and provides all acute medical, surgical, orthopaedic, and women’s and children’s specialities. Tunbridge Wells Hospital was successfully appointed a Regional Trauma Unit in 2012, and includes all trauma, surgical and Critical Care back-up services.

Maidstone Hospital is a modern 410 bed district general hospital. It provides general hospital services to a catchment population of around 220,000. The Emergency Department sees around 90,000 attendances a year.
