We are looking for a Team leader- care to join our care team at Radis Community Care in Maypole place in Maypole Birmingham B14 , where you as part of a team, will be supporting 22 male and female Services users in their own apartments with Learning disabilities.
Each person has different likes and hobbies, such as shopping, cooking, swimming, go on trips, have activities in the hub such as film nights and pamper sessions, go out for meals. You will be responsible for providing personal care, medication, daily living skills, and activities to the people you support. You will also be part of a great team that will help you achieve your true potential.
As a Team Leader you will provide support to our Supported Living Services, providing specialised person centred support. Radis recognise each person as an individual and provide a unique service which is tailored to their specific needs and provide a consistent approach throughout their life.
To work alongside the Managers of our Supported Living Services- overseeing the smooth running of these services, completing regular audits, checks, supervisions, spot checks, updating and reviewing support plans and working to ensure that individuals achieve their outcomes.
The role will require you to schedule / allocate work to the Support Workers, support with medication, personal care tasks and covering shifts within the services.
You will be required to take part in the on call system

Skills and Qualifications required for the role
Previous experience working with individuals with Learning Disabilities, autism and mental health issues
Previous experience as a Team Leader will be advantageous but not essential. The successful candidate will have an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care working towards Level 3. You will have good written and verbal communication skills and have a willingness to learn in line with clients needs and expectations.

This is a rewarding role, and every day is different. Full training will be provided, working towards Care Certificate, including other training courses such as Learning disability awareness, autism awareness, and mental health awareness.
