CK Group are recruiting for a Head of Production onbehalf of a growing Cell Therapy CDMO to lead a manufacturing teamand oversee production activities. This role will be based at theirsite in Cambridge on a permanent basis.

TheRole:

This is a key role whereyou will be leading the manufacturing operations and developing ahighly skilled team within the Production Department into a new eraof excellence.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement productionstrategies to meet client demands and businessobjectives.
  • Act as a production primary pointof contact during internal and externalaudits.
  • Play a key role in facility design,capital projects, commissioning, and validation with support offuture cleanroom expansion.
  • Lead and manage across functional team providing guidance, training, andmentorship.
  • Implement effective workingpractices including implementation of shift systems.
  • Oversee scheduling of staff and facilities toensure uninterrupted manufacture and supply of ATMPs, and ensureall areas associated with manufacturing are compliant with UKRegulatory.

YourBackground:
  • Degree in aPharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or equivalent.
  • Expertise in GMP manufacturing of ATMPs andproven experience in production management ideally within a CDMOcell therapy setting.
  • Proven track record ofscaling up /scaling out of ATMP manufacturingprocesses.
  • Strong leadership and teammanagement skills with the ability to motivate and inspireothers.
  • Understanding and experience of asepticprocessing and cleanroom technologies.
