Applicants should meet the following criteria:

Significant (7+ years); experience supporting a medium/large organisation (~£500M+ annual revenue, 6,000+ end-users, 40+ sites, 4000+ support calls per month). Relevant ITIL qualifications (foundation, Practitioner & Intermediate). Strong (5+ years) knowledge and experience of IT Service or Service Delivery Management. Strong (5+ years) practical working experience of the implementation and management of ITIL processes and frameworks. Strong (5+ years) experience of ITSM tools. Good (3+ years) level of IT technical knowledge (architecture, infrastructure, EUC etc.). Good (3+ years) experience of managing stakeholders, vendors, 3rd parties and managed service providers.

Duties of this role include:

The IT Service Delivery Manager is responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of IT services to colleagues, stakeholders, and patients. They play a crucial role in maintaining high service levels, guiding service teams, and optimizing processes. To act as a principal contact and link between business and IT service delivery, streamlining the organisation's processes to ensure all departments work together to deliver seamless IT service. Understand the health, performance and availability of the services that you are responsible for and drive continuous service improvement. Be responsible for service changes, service introduction, optimising delivery of these to reduce service interruption. Build and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, understanding needs and aligning service delivery accordingly. Collaborate and influence colleagues to ensure delivery and adoption of effective Service Delivery processes. Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to ensure seamless service delivery. Support the delivery of major IT projects and change programmes.
