Main duties of the job
What you'll be responsible for:
Undertake nursing assessment and evaluation to enable development of appropriate plans of care based on the needs of the individual. Be proficient in the delivery of care to proficient in the delivery of care to patients. Ensure safe administration of drugs in accordance with NMC and CHS policies. Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance with CHS policy and NMC guidelines. Carry out nursing procedures and techniques in accordance with agreed policies and standards. To be responsible for providing skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the operating theatre team To participate in the assessment of patient care needs implementing and maintaining agreed standards of care. Following Codes of Professional Practice provide high quality care to patients undergoing treatment within the Peri-Operative Environment.The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.
What youll need:
Have a minimum of 6 months experience as a Registered Nurse in Theatres Registered with NMC*Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
