The team is dedicated to improving patient outcomes through targeted, Pharmacist-led solutions, from the distribution of specialist medications and medical supplies to bespoke development programs, compliance support, and beyond – working closely with independent hospitals, social care organisations, and other specialised healthcare providers across the UK to optimise pharmacy care for their patients.

This is a highly exciting time to join the business, with a rapid growth trajectory ongoing and the team soon to complete a relocation to a much larger, acutely modern site just across town. As Chief Operating Officer, you will lead the business’ operational strategy during this time of growth and change (including the transfer of operations to the new site), establishing strong foundations for further expansion and transformative opportunities in the future.

In a constantly shifting market, your dynamism will ensure that the team can continue to thrive, innovate, and explore new ventures that bring the business to new heights.

This is a permanent, full-time position for a Chief Operating Officer for an established pharmaceutical procurement and consultancy service.

 

Person specification:

  • (Essential) Established history of successful operational management in product supply settings, ideally within the pharmaceutical / healthcare industry
  • (Essential) Keen understanding of operational needs, legal and regulatory compliance, and business performance in a pharmacy setting
  • (Essential) Board-level proficiency in financial, strategic and change management
  • (Essential) Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
