Nightingale Hammerson is a leading specialistin the care of older people supporting over 250 Residents from theJewish community. We have two care homes Nightingale House inClapham and Hammerson House Wohl Campus in East Finchley. Weprovide residential nursing dementia respite and palliativecare.
We understand the importance ofpersonalised care that centralises the needs of the Resident withan onsite therapy team which includes a dietitian and a wealth ofactivities for Residents to enjoy.

As aRelationship Centred Care Coordinator youwillfosterpositive relationshipsenhancing staff and Residents wellbeingand promote a respectfulworkplace culture.
What will yourtypical day involve
Inthis role you will lead workshops on key topics like Namaste CareDementia Care communication and team building to enhance staffskills and the care experience. You will advocate for staffwellbeing through reflective practice sessions Schwartz Rounds andother initiatives fostering resilience and peer support.Collaborating with the psychology team you will help build aculture of respect communication and inclusivity. Additionally youwill listen to relatives feedback and support the relative peersupport group every other month.
You will guideRCC Champions alongside Registered Managers encouraging effectivecommunication and engagement and work to embed theRelationshipCentred Care strategy throughout the organisation. As arole model you will demonstrate excellent communication withresidents promoting respectful meaningfulinteractions
Who are we lookingfor
Theideal candidate will have an NVQ Level 3 or QCF Level 3 in Health& Social Care or equivalent along with a strongunderstanding of dementia care communication strategies andrelationshipcentred care principles.A passion for personcentredcare is essential as is experience in healthcare social care or arelated field with a focus on dementia care or RCCprinciples.
The candidate will also haveleadership or coordination experience particularly in facilitatingteam building carerelated workshops and staff development.Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel isrequired.
While understanding Jewish culture andfamiliarity with reflective practice and Schwartz Rounds aredesirable they are not essential.
