Guided by experts you’ll grow new skills to develop your own asset management experience whilst working closely with a number of stakeholders to shape the future of the Electricity network. This role is flexible on location in England/Wales with hybrid working a mix of home, office and site.
You’ll join the Asset Management team for Cables and OHL who are responsible for National Grid Electricity Transmission’s approach to Asset Management, supporting the journey to Net Zero by developing and deploying new innovative tools and techniques. The team have a vital role in managing our asset lifecycle for the future needs of the network and society.
Your key outputs are to support the development and maintenance of the asset management lifecycle that govern the management of critical assets across the electricity transmission network. Ensure our asset management is effective, efficient and complaint with legal and regulatory requirements. You’ll support the development and implementation of new asset management initiatives that align with our strategic objectives.
What are the requirements?
A degree or equivalent in Engineering, Science, Technology or Business-related subject. You can demonstrate excellent problem solving skills, these are essential to the role, with the team regularly involved in solving complex problems and taking new innovative ideas from the initial concept through to implementation. Strong analytical skills and the ability to manipulate a large amount of data. Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability effectively communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels within the business. Team working is key part of the role, working on projects with a variety of stakeholders and roles internally and externally.
Pay and Benefits
• Starting salary of £45,521 to £57,739 pa + Excellent Benefits package + Training and Development.
