CONTRACTS MANAGER - Highways (Traffic Management)

Your new company 
We are working closely with one of the largest regional experts in All-speed traffic management surveying/design/on-site management. They are one of the leading names in the industry, working closely with National Highways builders and Contractors. They started as a family run business, and have maintained their core values while promoting quality working standards across their project portfolio. They are fully adept at taking work packages from cradle to grave with the full range of tools and equipment at their disposal. They use multiphase traffic control systems, battery-powered traffic lights, solar-powered VMS Signs and Semi-Permanent Systems, all as part of a range of comprehensive specialist equipment. As you would expect from an established traffic management company, they are fully accredited to the Lantra Sector  schemes 12A, 12B, 12C & 12D, as well as a number of other traffic management accreditations.

Your new role 
Our client is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join their Operations teams and help to manage a portfolio of 4-6 complex temporary traffic works sites across the North London/Hertfordshire area. You will be tasked with overseeing the general conveyance and design of all on-site traffic management designs. While you will be required to get involved with the design process, you will be expected to give expert advice in rectifying design issues. The largest part of your role will be to provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders in terms of cost evaluations and time-frames.  

What you'll need to succeed 
You will need to possess some form of project management experience, ideally within the Temporary Traffic Management industry and ideally, the knowledge of handling multiple projects simultaneously. It is required that you have NEC projects experience. You should also possess good technical/IT skills, including client management abilities.
