An exciting opportunity has arisen at Calderlea surgery, a long established Training practice for an  Advanced Nurse Practitioner  to join our forward thinking team. Our surgery prides itself on providing good quality clinical care and having a supportive and loyal team. Our practice comprises of 3 GP Partners, 1 Salaried GP, 1 Nurse Practitioner, 7 excellent administrative staff, Practice Manager, Deputy Manager, Physiotherapist, Link Support Worker, Mental Health Liaison Nurse, Occupational Health Therapist and a Prescribing Support Pharmacist. We use Vision and DOCMAN.

The ANP will be NMC registered and will have successfully completed an accredited Nurse Practitioner/Minor Illness qualification and be an independent prescriber.

Considered applicants will be expert clinical practitioners, responsible for providing advanced clinical assessments, working autonomously, utilising high levels of decision making and clinical judgement in relation to patient care, including the diagnosis and management of acute conditions. The main role will be to undertake autonomous triage of on the day demand and provide acute clinical appointments. Experience of general practice would be an advantage but is not essential.

We are aiming to recruit a candidate to work Monday-Thursday, 7 clinical sessions per week.
