Your Role:

Beyond the standard Contract Management responsibilities you'll also be responsible for:-

Commercial Governance to ensure and maintain effective governance in line with our policies and procedures.

Contract Management where you'll oversee the entire life cycle of contracts, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating and executing various agreements.

Customer Relations where you'll liaise with customers on contractual matters, maintaining and building positive business relationships.

Bids and Proposals where your role contributes to the commercial aspects of bids and draft terms and conditions.

Team Leadership where you'll be able to support less experienced team members with their career development.

About You:

You'll need to be confident and organised and have the ability to identify key risk areas in contract terms and lead contract negotiations. You'll be self-motivated with strong problem solving skills and a pragmatic approach, and happy to work in an environment where priorities can change quickly.

In addition we'd like you to also have:

A relevant degree or a minimum of 3 years commercial contracts experience

Experience with US Federal Acquisition FARS/DFARS and UK MOD DEFONs

Knowledge of UK, Europe and US Export regulations.

Experience with contract management software - Cobblestones would be great

You'll also need a valid driving licence.

Due to the nature of the role you must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
