Location: Birmingham orSalford - remote working available, with travel to theoffice

Contract:Permanent Fulltime – flexible and part-time hours available ifdesired, just let us know

Salary: £39k - £47k FTE + carallowance + private healthcare + benefits

 

Responsibilities

As a Senior Highways Technology Engineer, you'll developand lead the creation of a range of technical documentationincluding drawings, BoQs, reports, business cases and riskregisters.

Your day to day duties willinclude:

  • Leading, authoring andreviewing feasibility studies, options reports, preliminary designsand technical queries for technology asset schemes.
  • Managing others, either as a line manager or a projectlead, tasking and providing guidance and feedback, to ensuretimeliness, accuracy and high quality of output.
  • Leading engagement with clients and a variety of designdisciplines to define requirements and drive completion ofworks.
  • Development of self and others throughthe creation, management and utilisation of processes andprocedures for work activities.
  • Provision ofregular project updates, in relation to progress, spend and riskmitigation.

 

What are we lookingfor?

This role of Senior HighwaysTechnology Engineer is great if you have a:

  • Proven track record of delivery in ITS consultancy,design and/or project management.
  • Knowledge ofITS, National Highways Technology Assets, Infrastructure, loT,Telco, IP technologies and their applications against the servicesKier Transportation supplies.
  • Possess arelevant tertiary qualification in engineering/science relatedsubject.
