  • The SEO Manager plays a key role on thePortfolio Strategy & Activation team.
  • They will support the execution of the SEOstrategy for the Client Petcare Network under the guidance of theSenior Manager Content Marketing & SEO. He/she must be highlycollaborative detailoriented a selfstarter and a creative problemsolver.
Main duties will include:
  • Conducting SEO research. Conduct keywordresearch and competitor research making suggestions forimprovements and ensuring were not cannibalizing keywords orduplicating efforts across the business.
  • Improve technical SEO performance. Recommendfixes to development team and track progress/results. Understandand improve crawling functions site architecture and siteinfrastructure.
  • Onpage SEO. Work with our development team and CMS to optimize allpages for search engines (keywords meta data tagging infrastructureand structured data) update internal links and optimize site forpage speed.
  • OffpageSEO. Create and execute whitehat link building/digital PR strategyworking with internal and external partners.
  • Reporting and analytics. Performmonthly tracking for key programs and metrics. Update presentationsas needed with current data and insights.
  • Take a highly proactive approach inrecommending and implementing tactics for continuous improvements.Monitor performance of key projects to optimize and find value.
    Project management.
  • Create monitor and advance SEOrelated projects tocompletion working across teams to gather information and establishagile work.
  • Communication and collaboration. Use effective and respectfulcommunication skills to collaborate with colleagues (developmentteam UX team digital operations team content marketing and customermarketing).
  • Abilityto explain technical SEO concepts to nontechnical stakeholders andget buyin.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree required preferably inMarketing Technology or a related field
  • 6 years of SEO experience with a mixedtechnical and content focus
  • Previous experience in the animal health industry orpharmaceuticals a plus (inhouse or agency)
  • A track record of SEO success with tangiblemetrics to show improvements
  • Experience with Content Management Systems SEO tools(SEMRush Google Analytics Search Console) and analytics tools(Google Analytics Google Tag Manager and Looker Studio)
  • Stays up to date onSEO trends algorithm updates and best practices
  • A passion for results andability to quickly adapt to change
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications(Excel PowerPoint Outlook and Teams)
  • Intermediate HTML CSS JavaScript and UXknowledge.
