  •  Position Purpose
    The Restaurant Sales Manager is a highly commercial and driven individual who is the first port of call in our customer’s journey. They
    will work closely with our hosts and General Managers in the restaurants to offer customers an exceptional experience and ensure all of
    our offerings are made available to the customer, with a commercial focus on driving ASPH. The role is based in Covent Garden and
    will also involve external outreach to local businesses/ the local community to maximise and drive sales, and collaborating with the team
    working on local outreach. 
  • Principal Accountabilities 
  •  Securing reservations in our Covent Garden restaurants with a core focus on driving spend through established steps of service and
    achieving incremental sales wherever possible. 
  •  Working with the reservations training mentor to deliver exceptional client service and ensure customers experience of speaking
    with reservations holds true to our ethos. 
  •  Manage last-minute and urgent booking requests efficiently. 
  •  Secure advantageous commercial conditions for the company. 
  •  Ensure all bookings are made promptly and accurately. 
  •  Continuously seek ways to enhance the booking process and client satisfaction. 
  •  Handle client inquiries and issues with professionalism and efficiency. 
  •  Working directly with the restaurants to ensure covers and sales are maximised and paced appropriately. 
  •  Optimising Opentable/ Sevenrooms so bookings are set up to maximise revenues. 
  •  Optimise email database system and customer CRM. 
  •  Train hosts to on selling and cross training by managing the reservations management system. 
  •  Run reports showing KPIs.
    Professional Requirements 
  •  Proven sales experience and reservations management desirable. 
  •  Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills. 
  •  Ability to handle high-pressure situations and urgent requests. 
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities. 
  •  Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  •  Proficiency in reservation management systems and related software is desirable.
