What doesthe People and Culture Advisorat Collinsondo

We are looking for aP&C advisor to come and join the team on a fixed termcontract (1214 months).The People and Culture Advisor will play avital role in supporting the People and Culture (P&C)business partnering team to enable delivery of a firstclassadvisory service to the business through the provision of efficientemployee relationships across the full Colleaguelifecycle

KeyResponsibilitiesof this roleinclude

  • Supportsthe P&C Business Partner team with a range of P&Cpriorities and processes aligned to the annual calendar P&Ccyclical processes including but not limited to ASR and BonusColleague Engagement Survey Talent and Succession ReviewsRecruitment Performance Reviews.
  • Dealing withmatters of employee relations to a best practicestandard.
  • Advise and assist people managers indisciplinary grievance probation management performance managementsickness absence flexible working and investigatory process andmeetings.
  • Advise on any escalated issuesrelating to family friendly policies and processes includingparental leave maternity paternity adoption and shared parentalleave.
  • Referring to the relevant P&Cpolicies and taking ownership of case conclusion and allaccompanying documentation/follow uprequired.
  • Provide advice relating to visa andeligibility to work in the UK including assigning certificate ofsponsorships for skilled worker visa applications and indefiniteleave to remain applications.
  • Production anddevelopment of Management Information relating to the employeelifecycle processes and providing insights for the P&Cdashboards.
  • Creation and delivery ofP&C training sessions and materials to develop and upskillthe wider business on P&C policies andprocesses.
  • Updating of policies and proceduresassigned in line with current legislation and aligned with theP&C strategy and priorities.
  • Occasionaltravel to the Haywards Heath / London office (dependent on baselocation).
  • Any project work allocated by theP&C Business Partners or Senior P&C BusinessPartners.

Keyskills and experience to be evidenced within your applicationincluded

  • P&CGeneralist experience essential with employee relations experiencedesirable.
  • Desirable to have experience ofworking within a specialist P&C function e.g. Learning& Development HR OperationsReward.
  • CIPD qualification (part or fullyqualified) desirable.
  • Good knowledge ofP&C policies systems (preferably Cascade) proceduresguidelines and philosophies.
  • Have strongworking knowledge of current employmentlegislation.
  • Competent to manage Certificate ofSponsorships and Indefinite Leave to Remain employee requests andprocesses.
  • Be well organised with the abilityto plan prioritise and manage a high volume ofcasework.
  • Can remain calm underpressure.
  • Can apply sound judgement and balancecommercial needs of the business whilst mitigating any risk to thebusiness.
