We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive Band 7 midwife who is passionate about delivering a high quality service to the women of East Kent.

Main duties of the job

The Midwifery sister will provide managerial support and direct line management for the allocated setting they are responsible for, while maintaining their own clinical skills and practice. The post holder will support the Midwifery Matron with the planning and modernising of service delivery which will initially be a key function of the role, while maintaining service provision within area of responsibility and contributing to the delivery of key performance outcomes.
