TheOpportunity:

Rovco are recruitingfor a Workshop Supervisor to join the team on a full time permanentbasis.
Based in Westhill Aberdeen the Workshop Supervisorwill be responsible for overseeing the daily operations andactivities of our new Workshop at our Westhill Operationsfacility.
You will will play a crucial role in structuringand tailoring our newly acquired facility to a required standardand working with line management to identify future supportrequirements in line with strategy and continuedgrowth.
You will also be responsible for maintaining asafe and efficient work environment meeting equipment maintenanceand readiness for project requirements and targets and ensuringquality standards are met. This position requires strong leadershipskills technical expertise and the ability to effectivelycommunicate and collaborate with teammembers.

MainResponsibilities

• SuperviseWorkshop Operations; oversee the daytoday activities in theworkshop ensuring efficient workflow and meeting productiontargets.
• Quality Control; implement andmaintain quality control procedures to ensure that all products oroutputs meet the required standards andspecifications.
• Safety Compliance; ensurecompliance with all safety regulations and guidelines conductingregular safety inspections and implementing corrective measures asnecessary.
• Equipment Maintenance; oversee themaintenance and repair of workshop equipment and machinerycoordinating with relevant departments or external vendors whenrequired.
• Process Improvement; identify areasfor process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiencyproductivity and costeffectiveness.
• InventoryManagement; monitor and manage workshop inventory including rawmaterials spare parts and tools to ensure availability and minimizewastage.
• Documentation: Maintain accuraterecords of production activities equipment maintenance andinventory levels and generate reports asrequired.
• Customer Service; liaise with thirdparty contractors suppliers or internal stakeholders to understandtheir requirements address concerns and be the main POC for allworkshopactivities.

Youshould apply if youhave:

• ForkliftBanksman slinging and Gantry Cranedesirable
• Knowledge of equipmentlogistics
• Knowledge of procurement principlesand stock management systems
• Excellent writtenand verbal communications and ability to work on owninitiative
• A full UK drivinglicense
