To support access to community activities and occasional health appointments.

We are looking to recruit a support worker/enabler to assist a young adult to access the community with various activities.
 
Support Hours: 2hrs per week – this can be negotiated at various times.

This person enjoys walks in the countryside or somewhere not too busy but also likes things like escape rooms etc.

MAIN DUTIES
· Support to access the community, out and about.
· Support to become more active.
· Support to occasional healthcare appointments to support to understand these discussion and outcomes.

Rate of pay £13.09 per hour. Holidays are 5.6 weeks per year, pro-rata.

Person Specification
Successful applicant must:
· Have some understanding of how health can impact on mental health and well-being.
· An understanding of anxiety and the impact this can have.
· The need to take small steps to develop a relationship.
· Must hold a full UK driving license.
· Female applicants only.

An Enhanced DBS Check is required for this post, cost will be met by Northumberland County Council.
Rate of Pay: £13.09 per hour
