ABOUT THEJOB

As a SeniorControl System Engineer you will be part of a team responsible fordesigning building testing and implementing industrial controlsystems (both hardware and software). This includes working withProgrammable Logic Controllers (PLCs) Human Machine Interfaces(HMIs) Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) softwarepackages and Industrial Network solutions. You will also configurePC software for user interface and data processing functions andintegrate software packages using standard protocols andcustomdeveloped scripts. This role may involve working acrossvarious office locations and client sites throughout theUK.

Requirements

SUMMARYOF ROLE ANDRESPONSIBILITIES

In thisrole you will:

Design develop program andtest missioncritical solutions under the guidance of seniorengineers.

Resolve hardware andsoftware challenges as a key team member in assigned solutionareas.

Design and configurecybersecure infrastructure and communications using industrystandard protocols.

Understand and comply withoperational procedures and both internal and externalstandards.

Supervise assembly andelectrical testing of solution hardware including functional safetysystems.

Install and commissionsolutions on customersites.

Provide support andmentoring to juniorengineers.


SUMMARYOF REQUIREMENTS

We arelooking for someonewith:

Experience andKnowledge

Proven experience in controlsystem project delivery including design implementation testing andcommissioning.

Basic understanding ofelectrical system drawings including GA s Wiring Schematics andTermination Diagrams.

Strong fundamentalelectrical knowledge and ability to interpret systemdrawings.

Solid grasp of general IT/OTtechnologies and developmentmethodologies.

Awareness and understandingof Quality Management Systemprocedures.

Knowledge of WindowsOperating System configuration andlockdown.

Familiarity with networkswitch and firewall configuration and network managementpackages.

Degree in Electrical& Electronic Engineering Electrical Engineering SoftwareEngineering or a similarqualification.

Experience in a structuredproject deliverylifecycle.

Proficiency with SiemensPLCs/HMIs DCS andDrives.

Skills andAbilities

Proficiency in generatingformal technical documentation for the full projectlifecycle.

Competence in MicrosoftOffice products.

Ability to estimate time andcosts for common tasks.

Eligibility for securityclearance checks for access to clientsites.

Strong ability to captureinformation analyze it and propose appropriatesolutions.

Excellent verbal written andinteractive communicationskills.

Ability to workindependently on customer premises including productionlocations.

Demonstrated commercialawareness anddiligence.
