Job Summary

As a skilled Electrical Controls Systems Developer at MAHLE, you will play a key role in the development of model-based control systems for engine, vehicle, and EV torque control applications. Working closely with internal and external teams, you will contribute to research, prototype development, and small-volume production solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop software in Simulink and Targetlink.
  • Support system modeling, software testing, and simulation (Sil/MiL).
  • Support HIL rig development, set-up, and deliver sign-off testing.
  • Provide support to projects off-site when required.
  • Familiar with ETAS INCA and Vector analysis tools.
  • Practical knowledge of working with CAN networks and protocols, manipulating dbc files, and configuring messages.
  • Experience with programming in C/C++.
  • Familiar with automotive electrical environment (controls, component, and comms technologies).

Requirements
  • Degree in electrical/electronic engineering or similar mechatronics/software development.
  • Familiar with automotive electrical environment (controls, component, and comms technologies).
  • Able to travel to work at client/partner sites, UK or overseas, for periods up to 4 weeks at a time.
