Would you like a new challenge working in a busy GPpractice, whose aim is to make a real difference to our diverse catchmentpopulation?
We are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiasticPractice Nurse, to work part time (24 hours - 2-8pm Monday, Tuesday, 1-5pm Thursday and 1-6pm Friday) There may be some flexibility in the hours to be worked and on occasions you would be required to work a Saturday morning 9am to 12pm.
Our post is open to all nurses as training for professionaldevelopment and career progression is available
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible, as part of our nursing team, for the delivery of high-quality patient focussed services, including wound and ulcer care, venepuncture, adult and child immunisations, chronic disease management, health promotion and all other nurse duties.

Qualifications
Essential
Registered General Nurse NMC PIN Excellent Communication skills Keyboard and IT skills Ability to work without direct supervision and determine own workload priorities Keen to learn new skills Able to work under pressure Able to work in a changing environment Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team Positive attitude Caring nature and good people skills Understanding and adherence to the need for strict confidentiality
Desirable
Chronic Disease Management Experience using EMIS Web clinical software Experience working in Primary Care Cervical Cytology Venepuncture experience Wound Care Management Previous experience working RGN level-
