Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification

Purchasing sufficient, profiled and retail-quality used car stock to ensure divisional budget volumes are achieved Being fully comply with all purchase, stock valuing and disposal-related policies and procedures, along with any relevant paperwork or administrative duties in line with Jardine Motors Group guidelines. Using Jardine Motors Group systems to monitor and forecast the required used car stock levels Maintaining relationships with manufacturer partners, and being acutely aware of franchise and dealership purchasing targets to maximise purchasing opportunities. Having a close understanding of the group, franchise and dealership used car budgets, and providing support with used car promotions, when required. Maintaining relevant trading standards knowledge and ensure trade description guidelines are followed at all times and in accordance with Company policy.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Previous experience of managing a used car department A demonstrable understanding of the used car market Experience in working within an PLC environment is desirable Proven negotiating and influencing skills
