Role Overview:

Do you have a flair for creative communication and marketing? As a Marketing Communications Assistant at 8Bits, you will play a key role in developing and implementing marketing campaigns and communication strategies. Your efforts will help promote our brand, support our marketing objectives, and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating and executing marketing communications strategies to promote our products and services.
  • Write, edit, and proofread a variety of marketing materials, including press releases, newsletters, social media posts, and website content.
  • Help manage and update the company’s social media channels, engaging with the audience and monitoring performance.
  • Support the development of marketing collateral such as brochures, flyers, and promotional materials.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to gather content, schedule posts, and ensure alignment with marketing campaigns.
  • Assist with organizing and promoting events, including product launches, trade shows, and promotional activities.
  • Track and analyze the performance of marketing communications, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain and update content on the company website and other digital platforms.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay informed and contribute fresh ideas.
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, managing project timelines, and organizing files.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, content management systems (CMS), and basic design tools (e.g., Canva).
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and communication strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with marketing analytics tools is a plus.
  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Enthusiasm for the entertainment industry and a passion for creating engaging content.
