LSA required to work with pupils for a SEN School in Redbridge on a full time basis. There are opportunities for flexible or long-term work within this school and they are actively looking for an LSA to start as soon as possible.

About the role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to join a vibrant and well-run SEN school in the Redbridge area. You will be working 1-1 and in small groups with SEN students who have varying SEN and behavioural needs. This role would suit someone who has worked in either a mainstream or SEN setting with varying aged pupils, ideally at an inner-city school. Previous school-based experience would be desirable and candidates must be comfortable working with all ages

What you will need:

  • Experience working with students with SEN or behavioural needs
  • Have a firm but fair approach regarding behaviour management
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service (if not, we can send you the forms)
  • SEN qualifications such as ASDAN are preferred but not essential
  • Teaching Assistant Level 2 preferred but not essential 
  • Passion for Education and personal development as the school can offer Teacher Training pathways to successful LSAs
