London, United Kingdom The Hidden 20% Full time

APPLICATIONS ACCEPTED UNTIL MIDNIGHT ON TUESDAY 19TH NOVEMBER.

About The Hidden 20%:

20% of the world are believed to be neurodivergent [ADHD, Autism, Dyscalculia, Dyspraxia, Dyslexia, Tourettes], that’s 1.6 billion people But the stats & status quo is shocking & need sorting

  • 40% of ND adults are unemployed.
  • 70% of ND employees suffer with mental health issues.
  • 94% of autistic children are bullied.
  • 85% of children diagnosed dyslexic are ashamed of it.
  • Suicide is the 2nd biggest cause of death for autistics
  • Up to 85% of people in prison are believed to be ND
  • Waiting times for NHS ADHD assessments can be up to 10 years.

These stats are in stark contrast to the significant and undeniable contribution ND’ers can make to society, just ask Agatha Christie, Steve Jobs, Marilyn Monroe, Isaac Newton, Picasso, Elvis, Greta Thunberg, Charles Darwin to name a few

The Hidden 20% is an award-winning charity on a mission to rewrite the future for Neurodivergents by breaking the cycle of shame, silence & suffering through representation, role models and media.

Having successfully tested this approach in 2024 using Podcast, PR, Social, Digital, Speaking events and Advertising media we are now stepping it up a gear for 2025 to reach more people with our message.

About the Podcast:

Launched in January 2024, The Hidden 20% podcast explores how neurodivergent minds think differently. Hosted by Ben Branson (Autistic/ADHD), visionary founder of Seedlip, this podcast features insightful conversations with neurodivergent entrepreneurs, creatives, and experts busting the myths and breaking down the stereotypes. Past guests include notable names like Kit Harington, Matt Willis, Heston Blumenthal, Georgia Steel, Dr Tony Lloyd, Carrie Grant and Lottie Moss. The Hidden 20% featured live at The Podcast Show 2024 and received three nominations at the British Podcast Awards, winning Gold for Best Interview Podcast and Silver for Best New Podcast in 2024.
