Outreach Support Worker

We require a Female Support Worker for our Outreach Service in Frodsham, Nr Chester.
  • Working from a single location in Frodsham
  • Supporting 1 young female on a 1:1 basis.
  • 24hrs per week over 4 days Monday - Thursday 9 am - 3 pm
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro-rata)

  • Driver required, with own car with business use insurance as you would be required to use your own car to take the female to appointments, day service, attend activities, etc. (mileage will be paid)
  • £14,976 per year (based on £12 p/h )

You may help the people you support to do things such as go shopping, cook their meals, or attend activities such as the cinema or bowling. Without you, they would not be able to live an independent and enriched life and so you get to feel great about the care you provide and go home feeling that you have made a difference to someone’s life.

NO EXPERIENCE needed. If you are a caring, compassionate, and dedicated person who wants to help others you have the skills we are looking for.

General details:
  • We offer FULL-TIME PERMANENT CONTRACTS
  • Fixed rolling shift patterns assigned to you so that you know your regular hours of work on an ongoing basis
  • There are lots of opportunities to pick up extra shifts but there is no obligation to do so, as we value a healthy work-life balance. You will not be allocated extra shifts if you do not want them
  • You will have access to lots of support from great managers and the opportunity to complete an NVQ
  • Progression opportunities do become available and are open to all existing employees prior to external recruitment.
  • You will generally work in the same house on each shift. There is generally no traveling between services once you start work, and you will build strong and meaningful relationships with the people you support and your colleagues.
  • The majority of the people we support have their own Motability Vehicles so for those of you who drive there is normally no need to use your own car.
