The Site Operations Manager (based at our Ditton (Widnes) site) is a key Site Leadership Team (SLT) role, ensuring that the siteoperations team deliver > 100 products safely, to the highest qualitystandards, whilst constantly striving for continuous improvements.

The products made at Ditton are at the fore front of sustainableingredients that go into personal care, home care and crop care products. These products are critical, as Croda looksto lead the way in supporting our customers with “effect” chemicals andsustainable ingredients that will support the decarbonisation of global supplychains.

At Ditton, we have plants that operate across multi-batch, multi productmanufacturing and downstream processing technologies.

Your main responsibilities will be to set the direction for theOperations team, continuously improving standards in SHE, Quality andmanufacturing excellence and to meet the current/future requirements of keystakeholders (Regulatory/Internal/External Customers/Employees).

To ensure all within the team comply with the site Safety, Health and Environmental legal and company requirements. To manage and ensure that the sites Quality management standards are adhered to providing the assurances our customers demand of their products. Responsible for providing the appropriate levels of resource to execute the production schedule, optimising the overall manufacturing performance. To manage the Operations Team, providing objectives, direction, prioritisation and development opportunities for all direct and indirect reports.  Develop, implement and report on key manufacturing performance indicated (, OEE) to drive efficient and cost effective processes

Ditton is looking at a Transformation Plan that will spend > £100M to2030 as we:

Upgrade our Site Infrastructure Replace and increase capacity with a new Biopolymers Plant Significant investment in R&D (new Technical Centre) Expand and upgrade our capability in Biotech production Decarbonise ouroperations with a target of net zero by 2030
