Hertfordshire Community NHSTrust are seeking an advanced orthoptist to take on orthoptic clinics for theCommunity Eye Service in West Hertfordshire. Currently the department consistsof 4 Orthoptists and 2 optometrists with links to the Acute TrustOphthalmologists. You will be expected to work single-handedly and as part of ateam in orthoptic assessment and treatment of patients attending the communitypaediatric eye service.

If you are successful in yourapplication to this post, you will be expected to manage and deliver on theresponsibilities outlined below as well as those not included here, calltoday to discuss further:

Work as an independent practitioner and as partof a highly motivated team to deliver all levels of Orthoptic investigation andassessment and to be able to use highly specialist skills to diagnose and treatall conditions as necessary.

Be responsible for Orthoptic assessments andtreatments for the full range of Orthoptic referrals for both children andadults and to maintain accurate clinical records in adhere with HCTs RecordKeeping Policy.
