Assignment Details:

For this role we are looking for staff immediately, however a later start can be considered if you are seeking work later in the academic year. You can work full time (5 days per week) or we can allow flexible contracts, so if part time suits you better then that works for us

  • PAYE paid weekly.
  • Free access to our SEND Toolkit skills development package comprising over 19 courses.
  • Funded formal qualifications, from Level 2 SEND, Level 3 Teaching and Learning, Level 4 HLTA and Level 5 TEFL.
  • Career progression via our Care to Classroom setting conversion course.
  • Wellbeing programme and refresher training for life in a 21st century classroom.
  • Trainee teacher apprenticeship opportunities.

Person Specification:

  • Have some experience working with young people with SEND in either a school setting or a similar environment
  • Be confident in your ability to support students with varied needs and/or challenging behaviours
  • Hold strong communication skills both orally and written.
  • Able to follow EHCP and care/learning plans effectively if needed too (not essential)
  • Willing to undergo continual professional training.
  • Be reliable and committed to working within an education environment
  • Able to work under pressure effectively and ‘think on your feet’
  • Ambitious and enthusiastic with a ‘can do attitude’ and good sense of humour.
