You could contribute to the manufacture of a leading cancer drug, building on your experience across manufacturing covering clean/sterile manufacture, polymer manufacture, as well as primary and secondary packing.

Accountabilities:

As an Improvement Engineer, you'll provide key technical and engineering support to the manufacturing area. You’ll identify inefficiencies in our manufacturing processes and provide solutions by being inquisitive and working collaboratively with internal and external customers. You’ll connect with the frontline aseptic area personnel and support staff to carry out problem solving. As a change owner, you’ll be responsible for equipment validation activities required to implement improvements, which can range from yield, quality, obsolescence, through to health safety and environment. This includes consideration of requirements to protect our drug product ensuring it remains aseptic and safe for our patients.

Essential Skills/Experience:

Relevant technical/engineering qualification (or appropriate experience) Experience of delivering equipment/process improvements in a regulated manufacturing environment including change control Experience of providing technical support within a manufacturing environment, including structured root cause analysis for problem solving. Application of Qualification/Validation and its related documentation Technical report writing & generation Effective influencing skills and stakeholder management with all levels of staff Excellent organisational skills and small to medium project management experience

Desirable Skills/Experience:

Experience within a sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing environment Experience in design: Autodesk Inventor, prototype manufacture, 3D Printing Health & Safety: Risk Assessments, COSHH, PUWER, IOSH Managing Safety Knowledge of Manufacturing Excellence/Lean ways of working Experience with robotics VHP systems experience Chartered or Incorporated Engineer Status
