The Business Support Manager will directly support the Chief of Staff (CoS) to the Deputy Group COO, providing operational and administrative support and delivering ad hoc projects.

In this role you will:

Co-coordinate activities to ensure the smooth running of the Chief of Staff function including meetings, townhalls, offsites and events – across logistics, agendas, content and stakeholder briefings. Provide administrative support for the Chief of Staff to the Deputy Group COO, including diary management to ensure the smooth running of the DCOO CoS function he DCOO CoS function.
Drive ad hoc projects in support of the DCOO and Chief of Staff strategic priorities. Proactively identify emerging risks and issues and drive their path to resolution with excellent stakeholder management.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

Previous Executive Assistant (EA) experience is desirable Strong Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel is mandatory Understanding of the HSBC Group and its business strategy is essential. Knowledge of Digital Business Services including the services, processes and people is desirable Ability to translate complex processes and issues into simple clear and concise steps. Excellent stakeholder management skills

This role is based in Grosvenor House, 1 Wellington Street, Sheffield, S1 4NB. UK Hybrid. Other UK locations could be considered.
