TPFRecruitment is currently supporting a highly reputable largeindependent firm of chartered accountants who are seeking amotivated and dynamic individual to join our dedicated tax team ata reputable firm in Brighton. Training and support will be providedto further develop existing taxknowledge.

Aboutthe Role: We are looking for a Tax Advisor who can provide taxadvice across a wide variety of sectors and taxes. The successfulcandidate will have the opportunity to liaise with HMRC draftreports and letters of advice prepare calculations and providesupport to Directors and Partners in the Tax AdvisoryGroup.

KeyResponsibilities:

  • Liaisingand corresponding with HMRC regarding clearance applicationsenquiriesetc.
  • Draftingreports and letters of advice for various tax advisoryissues
  • Preparingcalculations to supportadvice
  • Liaisingwith clients and attending meetings with other teammembers
  • Trainingand reviewing the work of more junior members ofstaff
  • Providingsupport to Directors and Partners in the Tax AdvisoryGroup

  • Adviceand implementation of corporate reconstructions investor reliefssuch as EIS/SEIS staff incentiveschemes
  • Advisingownermanaged businesses regarding remuneration planning successionplanning
  • Preparationof research & development claims VAT returns SDLTreturns
  • Advisingindividuals regarding IHT planning and CGTmitigation


Requirements

Requirements:

  • CTAqualified or ACA/ACCA qualified with a keen interest in studyingtowardsCTA
  • Experiencewith corporate taxes is essential; experience in other areas of taxisbeneficial
  • Strongoral and written communicationskills
  • GoodITskills
  • Excellentteamwork and organisationalskills
  • Stronganalytical skills and attention todetail
  • Akeen interest in learning and developing taxknowledge
