We are seeking ahighly motivated and experienced Commercial Cleaner to join ourteam. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining thecleanliness and hygiene of our clients commercial spaces includingoffices factories and warehouses.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitise all designated areas including butnot limited to offices wash rooms and commonareas
  • Sweep mop and vacuum floors carpets andupholstery
  • Dust and wipe down surfacesincluding desks shelves and cabinets
  • Restockand replenish supplies such as toilet paper soap and papertowels
  • Follow cleaning schedules and ensure alltasks are completed within the allottedtime
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipmentsuch as floor polishers vacuum cleaners and pressurewashers
  • Notify management of any maintenanceissues or needed repairs
  • Adhereto all health and safety regulations and companypolicies


Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills inEnglish
  • Experience as a commercial cleaner or in a similar role(preferable)
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicalsproper storage and disposal methods
  • Ability to work independently and as part of ateam
  • Strong attention to detail and timemanagement skills
  • Physical ability to lift andmove equipment as well as perform repetitive tasks
  • Must have reliable transportation

Perform GeneralCleaning Tasks: Sweep, mop, vacuum, and/or scrub floors. Dust andwipe down surfaces, including desks, countertops, shelves, andfixtures. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks,and mirrors. Empty trash bins and replace liners. Clean windows,glass partitions, and mirrors. Disinfection and Sanitization: Useappropriate cleaning agents and disinfectants to sanitizehigh-touch surfaces, such as door handles, handrails, lightswitches, and elevator buttons. Follow established protocols fordisinfecting surfaces to prevent the spread of germs and viruses,including COVID-19. Restocking Supplies: Monitor and replenishrestroom and cleaning supplies, such as hand soap, paper towels,toilet paper, and cleaning chemicals. Notify supervisors whensupplies are running low to ensure continuous availability. FloorCare: Perform floor care tasks, including sweeping, mopping,buffing, waxing, and polishing floors as needed. Use floor careequipment safely and effectively, following manufacturerinstructions and safety protocols. Waste Management: Properlydispose of waste and recyclable materials according to establishedprocedures and regulations. Segregate and separate recyclablematerials from general waste as required. Equipment Maintenance:Maintain cleanliness and functionality of cleaning equipment, suchas vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and buffers. Report anymalfunctioning equipment or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.Adherence to Health and Safety Standards: Adhere to health andsafety guidelines and regulations, including proper handling andstorage of cleaning chemicals, personal protective equipment (PPE)usage, and safe work practices. Report any unsafe conditions orincidents to supervisors immediately. Qualifications: Previousexperience in commercial cleaning preferred but not required.Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment. Abilityto follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Physicalstamina and ability to perform tasks that may require lifting,bending, and standing for extended periods. Excellent communicationand interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work various shifts,including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed.
