As a Senior Project Engineer you are responsible for the planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of complex engineering projects. This role requires a deep understanding of engineering principles, project management methodologies, and industry-specific standards. The Advanced Project Engineer works closely with cross-functional teams, including design, quality, procurement, and construction, to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to establish project goals and ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
- Manage the project budget, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effective utilisation of resources.
- Develop risk management plans, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring engineering solutions meet project requirements and industry standards.
- Oversee design reviews, technical specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate meetings, presentations, and discussions to keep all parties informed and engaged.
- Ensure all project activities adhere to organisational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement quality control processes and perform regular inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Participate in post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and implement best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualification in Engineering and Electrical background.
- 5+ years of experience in engineering project management, preferably in Process Automation and Control System.
Desired Skills and Competencies:
- Solid understanding of industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex technical challenges.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of liaising with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work in a dynamic environment.
