What You'll Do - As the Category Marketing Executive for the Sausage & Bacon category, you will be a driving force behind our product’s success within Sainsbury’s. You will do this through;

Category Leadership – Lead on the Sausage & Bacon category on a major retail account, developing and executing strategic plans to maximize sales and market share. Market Analysis - Analyse market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities. Collaboration - Work cross-functionally with sales, NPD, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless product launches and promotion Customer Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at Sainsbury’s, acting as the primary point of contact for category-related initiatives Sustainability Focus - Champion our businesses’ industry-leading sustainability agenda, ensuring all category initiatives align with our commitment to responsible sourcing and environmental stewardship

What we’re looking for

Experience - 1+ year of experience in a Category Management role within an FMCG business. Analytical Skills - Strong ability to analyse data from multiple sources, identify trends, and convert them into actionable insights with a clear, logical flow Technical Proficiency - Competent in spreadsheet analysis, especially when working with large numeric data sets Communication – Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate category opportunities and insights in an engaging and impactful manner Market Data Expertise - Experience using market data tools and capable of extracting relevant data and insights. Relationship Management - Effective at communicating and building relationships both internally and externally. Attitude - Enthusiastic, passionate, and always ready to take on challenges with a positive, can-do approach.
