This is an exciting opportunity to join the Oxford Spine department as part of the paediatric spine team as a surgical care practitioner. This is a new post that the appointed individual will be able to shape over time that would suit a motivated person with a strong ability to work as part of a team. Experience in paediatric spine deformity and quality improvement would be welcome.
Main duties of the jobThe post holder will be expected to develop a new professional role of a non-medically qualified practitioner across the spinal service with a focus on paediatric spinal surgery. The role is aimed at those who are qualified as surgical care practitioners (SCPs) to help meet the needs of the service. An interest and experience in paediatric spinal surgery is essential.
